I am a child and adolescent psychiatrist. I trained at the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium and I am registered to practise in Spain and Belgium. I see children, adolescents, university students and the adults in their family, by video in English, French, German and Spanish, and in person in Madrid.

A child describes fear, an intrusive thought, or what actually happened in the playground in one language: the one they think in. When that language is in the room, the whole account arrives — and so does the parents'.
